JOHN HENRY KOORS (farmer) was born May 23, 1853 in Ohio, and married Theodora Mary Vocke on January 10, 1873 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Millhousen, Indiana. John died January 12, 1888 and is buried in the Millhousen Cemetery. They had no children.

CLEMENT JOSEPH KOORS (farmer) was born in Decatur County, Indiana, near Millhousen, October 15, 1857. He married Mary Christina Burns, November 15, 1881 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Millhousen, Indiana.
Clement Joseph died July 12, 1938. Mary Christina, died February 23, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Both are buried in the Millhousen Cemetery.

C. J. Koors Died At Millhousen; Father of Several Children Residing Here Succumbed Tuesday; Last of His Family:
Mrs. Theodore Funke residing east of Tipton on state road 28 received a telephone call at noon Tuesday announcing the sad news that her father C. J. Koors, 80 years of age, had died at his home in Millhousen. Mr. Koors, although having had several severe attacks of illness, many of which occurred here several years ago at St. John's church while he was attending services, had been in frail health prior to the heart attack which caused his death, which occurred at 11:30 Tuesday morning.
The deceased was quite well known here where he had often visited at the home of his two daughters, Mrs. Funke and Mrs. Frank V. Dane, and with other relatives. He was a brother of Herman G. Koors, twice Indiana tomato King whose death occurred at his home northeast of Tipton, May 15, 1933, and had many relatives in this county.
Besides the two daughters in Tipton, he is survived by the widow, Mrs. Mary (Burns) Koors and seven other children, Joseph H. Koors, former resident, now residing near Decatur, Mrs. William Vercamp, Herman Koors, Bernard Koors, Clement Koors, all of near Millhousen, and Paul Koors at home.
The deceased was the last member of his immediate family and had spent all of his life in the community in which he died. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Millhousen and a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, being a charter member of the Greensburg council.
Besides the relatives above mentioned, he has many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a number of whom reside in this county.
Many relatives from this county will attend the funeral services.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's church in Millhousen Friday morning at 9:00 o'clock and burial will be in the cemetery at that place.

Christina (Waben) Bruns (b) Dec 1829 Baden Germany (d) Nov 1901 about two
weeks after her Husband. They are both buried at Millhousen, Indiana in the
catholic cemetery. Herman came to the United States in 1850 to Cincinnati, Ohio where
he married Christina.

Mrs. Joseph Koors, Ill Long Time, Dies At Millhousen Home
Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Koors, 81, died at her home in Millhousen Wednesday morning of pneumonia and infirmities due to her age. She had been seriously ill since last October 28.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock a Millhousen.
Mrs. Koors was the mother of 11 children, nine surviving. Two girls died in infancy. Surviving are Elizabeth Veerkamp, John Herman and Bernard Koors of Greensburg. Mrs. Frank Dane and Mrs. Theodore Funke of Tipton. Clem Koors of Millhousen. Paul, at the late home, and Joe of Decatur.
There are 50 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. In addition to a number of nieces and nephews.
One of the grandsons, Father Clement Funke, will be unable to attend services since he is in Austin, Texas.
Mrs. Funke was present at the time of her mother's death.

Rites for Mrs. Funke Planned Tuesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Christina (Koors) Funke, 77, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic church, with Rev. Clement Funke officiating. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery. The body is lying in stat at Young's Funeral home, where Rosary services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today.
Mrs. Funke, who resided at 307 Mill street, died at 7:20 a.m. Saturday at Mercy hospital, Elwood.
The daughter of Joseph C. and Mary (Bruns) Koors, she was born Aug. 18, 1885 at Millhousen. She and Theodore J. Funke were married there on Oct. 21, 1903. He died June 7, 1955. They had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1933.
Mrs. Funke was a member of St. John's church, Rosary society and National Council of Catholic Women. She attended school at Millhousen and had lived on a farm east of Tipton until her husband's death.
Surviving are four daughters, Miss Bertha Funke, Mrs. A. A. Tragesser, Mrs. Elmer Ziegler, Tipton; Ms. Robert A. Biltz, Indianapolis; three sons, Joseph Funke, John Funke and Rev. Clement Funke, South Bend; four brothers, Joseph H. Koors, of Decatur; Bernard Koors, Greensburg; Clem Koors, of Westport; Paul J. Koors, of Tipton, a sister, Mrs. Frank Dane, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
